Monthly Assistance Program

Monthly assistance, in the form of unprepared food, is available to all residents of Goffstown, New Boston, and Dunbarton who request it. Newcomers are welcome --No appointment is necessary.  

 

What to Bring:

Proof of residence is required at every visit. This proof of residence should be a current utility bill, not a driver’s license.

 

Time and Location:

Parish House of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, at 7 North Mast Street in Goffstown.  

 

Wednesday evenings from 6:00 – 7:30 pm

Saturday mornings from 10:00 – 11:30 am.

What We Offer:

At monthly visits, clients are provided with an assortment of food, based on family size:

  • Frozen meat and fish

  • Milk, cheese, and eggs

  • Pantry staples, such as cereal, soup, beans, pasta, canned fruits and vegetables, rice, and juice, as well as ready to eat meals like stew and ravioli

  • Fresh items (as available), such as breads, pastries, potatoes, apples, onions, carrots, and other seasonal fruits and vegetables

  • Personal care items, such as shampoo, toothpaste, toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, incontinent briefs and Kleenex

  • Laundry soap

  • In the summer, local gardeners often donate fresh produce through our Grow-A-Row program.
